warum tut sich hier so wenig? ganz simpel: wir sind – unüblicherweise – schon ein weilchen nicht tauchen gewesen. aber hier mal ein kleines lebenzeichen von uns!

da die kleinste der divingfamily seit anfang jänner im kühlen norden, die mittlere im östlichen wien & die oldies in der alten heimat linz weilen, gibt es zur zeit jeden montag punkt 21.00 bzw 22.00 uhr eine videokonferenz. die lauft hie & da so aus dem ruder, als würden wir grade am mittagstisch sitzen, meistens ist es aber ein riesenspass mit viel “gekudere” & geschichten erzählen.

apropos geschichten erzählen: bini bloggt auch über ihre zeit in vaasa. schaut mal bei ihr vorbei!

Unsere Reise führte uns von Malaspascua über Cebu, Manila, Palau und Guam nach Yap. Liebe Leser wir waren eine Woche in Yap – und wir sahen keinen Manta, nicht einen sondern eben keinen. Wir sind dort zwar bedauert worden aber wir haben eben keine gesehen. Grund war sicherlich das schlechte Wetter und dadurch bedingt eben eine sehr schlechte Sicht( es war wahrlich eine richtige Milchsuppe). Es waren wahrscheinlich eh Mantas da – aber bei der Sicht hatten wir keine Chance. Gottseidank haben wir davor auf den Philippinen und auch in Palau (German Channel) sehr viele gesehen.

hi there you guys, long time no see – we know, we know! well, today i improved some parts of our website and fooled around here a bit. i still want to make a better photo page and some changes in the design, maybe next week. at least i finally upgraded our wordpress-version! we all four have lots of work and school these days before christmas, but maybe in our holidays we can work out something together.

and i also made a checklist for our next holidays (malpelo!) because usually packing looks like this:

actually we have been using these kind of checklists for our trips for a couple of years now and we try to make them better after every use. i uploaded them for you, as well, but until now we only have them in german (maybe we will work out an english version too!).

we have a new layout here! it’s more personal this time and features the real divingfamily in the header-image.

the layout is based on the theme called “Aargau V1.0″ by Felix Krusch. the pictures featured in the header-image are our own photos – they were taken in west papua, australia, cuba and socorro (mexico).

we now have a photos-page here on our blog. i’m not 100% satisfied with it because it seems that loading needs ages, but in the meantime it’s okay.
the other new thing is the about us-section. you can find there a bit more information about us now!

so what else is going on? we came home safe this tuesday but had to find out that ilse has the flu and couldn’t go to work. sabrina & me  still have some ear problems and above all it’s a bit difficult to bear this weather here after these shiny & warm weeks in indonesia. but at least we have our pictures to remember – i will upload them in the next days, so stay tuned!
